Every week, a thousand pets are put to sleep in Valley facilities...
only because no one wants them. Yet, there are pet stores selling pets
(many of whom have been bred under awful conditions), newspaper ads selling pets (see previous comment), and people outside food stores selling pets.
It's time to do something about this.
I've decided to offer a free one-year party pass to anyone who adopts a pet
from either a shelter, a rescue website, or the Animal Care and Control facilities. PetSmart adoption centers are great too. (Just no pet stores, no breeders, and no 'puppies-for-sale at my home' types!) |
|
Why am I making this offer?
After deciding to adopt a dog,
I found my little guy at
azrescue.org... but while looking found hundreds (thousands) of other dogs awaiting homes.
I'm doing it for them.

Everybody needs love. Pets offer unconditional love.
(People offer love too, but it sometimes has strings attached!)
Have a tough day at work? Your pet won't care.
Look awful, feel awful, just want to sit on the couch and watch TV?
Guess who'd love to join you? |
|
One example:
At the Animals
Benefit Club, awaiting a home. |

Your next step?
You can click the link below to start. That will take you to petfinders.com,
where you can specify the type of animal, breed, size, etc... to help you find your 'perfect match'! The database contains animals from shelters (and organizations) all over the Valley, and it's well organized and easy to navigate.
Or, use whatever method you'd like to rescue/save/adopt an animal
(subject to the above 'where to adopt' guidelines!). |
|
Once you have your new pet,
bring a copy of the adoption paperwork
to any of our parties and trade it for
a free one-year party pass!
|
|
Once you've made a
purchase, bring your receipt to any party for free admission that evening! |
|
Dance, have fun, come meet someone.
Oh, and...
Find unconditional love!

Not ready to - or can't - adopt?
Make a purchase from...
Maricopa County Animal Care & Control's Thrift Store!
It's located at 12625 N Cave Creek Road (just north of Cactus Rd, on
the East Side), and it's filled with donated items! I've seen virtually new desks, file cabinets, HDTV antennas, weed wackers, lawn chemicals, electronics... and CLOTHES! Manager Judy notes that 90% of the clothing items come from My Sister's Closet, and include Banana Republic, Anne Klein, Anne Taylor, Old Navy, Gap...
Every purchase helps the dogs and cats awaiting adoption at the
Animal Care & Control facility... and those little guys DO need our help! |
|
There are now TWO ways to get free passes to our dances.
Make a purchase at the Thrift Shop run by Animal Care and Control, and
you'll earn a free pass to one party.
- or -
Adopt a pet, and get a free pass to a YEAR'S WORTH of parties.
It's up to you. Either way, you'll be helping homeless pets, so thanks!
